Partner Overview

The University of Arizona (UA) is located in Tucson, Arizona, USA with 40,000 students.  UA was the first university in the state of Arizona, founded in 1885.  Since it was founded, the UA has grown to cover more than 380 acres in central Tucson and is a rich breeding ground for discovery.   UA is a leading public research university ranked No.50 in the world and No.37 nationally according to the Centre for University World Rankings.
 

Surrounding Area

Arizona is a state in the southwestern region of the United States. It is the sixth largest and the 15th most populous of the 50 states.  The Phoenix Metropolitan Area comprises several cities and is often referred to as the ‘Valley of the Sun’.  With an average of over 330 days of sunshine per year, it’s easy to see why!  The average annual temperature is 22.5 degrees Celsius, with temperatures climbing much higher in the summer.

UA Health Insurance $640-$1,020/semester

 

Accommodation

There is on-campus and off-campus housing. Most rooms are doubles and students will share their room with another student. Students have the option to live off-campus and will be supported by the Off-Campus Housing Department.

12-15 per semester, at level 3 to 4.
