Play Action International

Play Action International is a UK charity and an international NGO, focusing on helping children in Uganda by providing them with playground facilities and the opportunity to learn.
As a Roehampton student, you could take part in the Gorilla Trek, exploring the natural beauty of Uganda over 5 days whilst also supporting the development of the country. You’ll get to discover the last remaining silverback gorillas, spend an hour in their company and contribute to the conservation of the species. You will also get to assist in the organisation’s play programme for the children. You will live in the local community, volunteering to transform a community school and build a better future for the children.
