Partner Overview

Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) in China is China’s first institution specializing in foreign language studies. It staffed with a highly-qualified, experienced faculty of more than 600 members, 330 of whom are professors and associate professors and 200 of whom are lecturers. Each year approximately 120 teachers and experts are invited from more than 20 countries to teach at BFSU.

Location

Beijing is the second largest Chinese city by urban population after Shanghai and is the nation's political, cultural, and educational centre. The city's history dates back three millennia. As the last of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China, Beijing has been the political centre of the country for much of the past eight centuries. The city is renowned for its opulent palaces, temples, parks and gardens, tombs, walls and gates and its art treasures and universities have made it a centre of culture and art in China.
