Roehampton Programme: UG English Language and Linguistics

Partner Overview

The University of Graz, is Austria's second oldest university and one of the largest in the country with over 30,000 students. Many excellent scientists, amongst them six Nobel laureates, have taught and researched here.
 

Surrounding Area

Graz (pronounced 'Gratz') is the second-largest city in Austria after Vienna and the capital of the Austrian federal state of Styria.  Graz is a charming, historic European city, small and intimate and a bit old-fashioned.  It's situated in the valley of the beautiful Steiermark region, minutes away from rolling green hills and mountains with classic Austrian homes adorned in flowers.
