University Information

Located in Tempe, Arizona, USA, Arizona State University (ASU) is known as the top university in Arizona for innovation, quality of students and degree programmes. It is ranked among the Top 25 research institutes in the U.S. in terms of research output, development, research expenditures, number of awarded patents and awarded research grant proposals. ASU is a large, public university, with over 70,000 students on four campuses.
 

Surrounding Area

Arizona is a state in the south-western region of the United States. It is the sixth largest and the 15th most populous of the 50 states. Tempe is part of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, often referred to as the ‘Valley of the Sun’.  With an average of over 330 days of sunshine per year, it’s easy to see why!  The average annual temperature is 22.5 degrees Celsius, with temperatures climbing much higher in the summer.

Accommodation

Students are encouraged to live on-campus in residence halls. It is not guaranteed for exchange students but is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Students can also stay in apartments or homestays while studying.
